Q*Bird was proud to participate in Nokia Wavelengths EMEA-LAT 2026, held from 21-23 April 2026 in Madrid, Spain. The event brought together industry leaders, network operators, technology providers and innovators to explore the future of connectivity, optical networking and next-generation infrastructure.
Together with Nokia, Q*Bird showcased how quantum secure communication can be integrated into modern network architectures, enabling operators and enterprises to strengthen resilience and scale securely in increasingly distributed digital environments. As connectivity demands continue to grow across data centres, cloud environments and critical applications, trusted and future-ready communication infrastructure is becoming increasingly essential for operational continuity and long-term resilience.
Throughout the event, Q*Bird demonstrated how the MDI-QKD Falqon® Series enables scalable, multipoint-to-multipoint quantum-secure communication networks designed for telecom, enterprise and critical infrastructure environments. Built around Measurement-Device-Independent Quantum Key Distribution (MDI-QKD), Q*Bird’s technology introduces a physics-based security layer designed to complement existing cybersecurity architectures and support trusted digital connectivity.
Industry stakeholders and professionals engaged with the Q*Bird team through discussions, live demonstrations and interactive sessions focused on:
- Quantum secure networking and interoperability
- Scalable communication architectures
- Secure connectivity for distributed environments
- Integration of MDI-QKD into existing infrastructure
- Strengthening resilience against evolving cyber and quantum-enabled threats
