Overview
Hosted under the High Patronage of Emmanuel Macron, Forum INCYBER 2026 brought together cybersecurity leaders, government agencies, industry innovators, law enforcement and academia in Lille to address the operational challenges shaping Europe’s digital future. From 31 March – 02 April 2026, Q*Bird participated in the event, showcasing how quantum secure communication can strengthen cyber resilience for critical infrastructure and trusted digital environments.
During Day 1, our CTIO and Co-Founder, Remon Berrevoets, addressed cybersecurity and industry delegates at the Innovation Village Stage with the session, “Quantum secure communication – Strengthening cyber resilience in the quantum era!”.
The session explored how organisations can prepare communication infrastructure for emerging cyber and quantum-enabled threats, while maintaining operational continuity and securing sensitive communications across complex environments.
The discussions sparked strong engagement around:
- Protecting critical infrastructure and national assets
- Strengthening cyber resilience through quantum secure communication
- Preparing organisations for the quantum era
- The role of scalable MDI-QKD networks in future cybersecurity architectures
Throughout the event, Q*Bird demonstrated the MDI-QKD Falqon® Series, showcasing how Measurement-Device-Independent Quantum Key Distribution (MDI-QKD) enables scalable and interoperable quantum secure communication networks designed for telecom, enterprise and critical infrastructure environments. Q*Bird was proud to contribute to the discussions shaping the future of trusted digital infrastructure and secure communications across Europe!
