Overview

Q*Bird is excited to participate in the eu-LISA Industry Roundtable 2026, taking place from 09-10 September 2026 in Strasbourg, France. Organised by eu-LISA in cooperation with the Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU, this edition focuses on Data Management, bringing together representatives from industry, Member State authorities, academia and EU institutions to exchange insights on the technologies and architectures underpinning secure, scalable and resilient public-sector digital infrastructure.

As European institutions increasingly depend on complex, interconnected digital systems, protecting sensitive data throughout its lifecycle while maintaining security and interoperability is becoming increasingly critical. Our CEO and Co-Founder, Dr. Ingrid Romijn, will contribute to Session 3, “Secure and scalable data architectures for the public sector”, joining technology and public-sector experts to explore approaches for building resilient infrastructure capable of supporting the evolving requirements of European public services.

🗓 Date: 09-10 September 2026

📍 Strasbourg, France and Online

The wider session will explore:

  • Secure and scalable data architectures
  • Digital sovereignty and resilient public-sector infrastructure
  • Protection of sensitive and mission-critical data
  • Interoperability across complex digital environments
  • Technologies supporting the evolution of large-scale European IT systems

Q*Bird’s MDI-QKD Falqon® Series enables scalable, interoperable and operational quantum secure communication networks designed to protect critical communications and sensitive data across complex infrastructure environments. As Europe continues to modernise the digital systems supporting justice, migration, asylum and border management, trusted and resilient communication infrastructure will play an increasingly important role in safeguarding the data and services on which governments and citizens depend.

We look forward to joining eu-LISA, Member State representatives, EU institutions and industry leaders in Strasbourg and contributing Q*Bird’s perspective on strengthening secure and scalable digital infrastructure for Europe!
